Sadly, HBF lost its famous “Conversano Tropina” aka Troppy in November 2018 due to heart failure following a brief illness. Tropina, aged 28, performed with the famous Lippizaner show prior to coming to live a life of leisure at HBF. He became Connie's heart horse and he patiently worked with her during his second career as dressage show horse. This year, Tropina and Connie were inducted as members into the exclusive Century Club, earning Tropina his final ribbon. He never lost his verve for showing off and he is sorely missed!

HBF's Lipizzaner gelding Ricky suddenly and tragically passed away in November 2013.  The loss of a horse leaves a hole in our hearts, and we know our dear friend is waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.
